E. Coli Follow-up

After 24 hours, we checked the results from incubating bacteria. The results were as followed:

Four Plates:
1.) LB (-pGLO)
2.) LB/amp (-pGLO)
3.) LB/amp (+pGLO)
4.) LB/amp/ara (+pGLO)

1.) Growth
2.) No growth
3.) Growth
4.) Growth

We then checked the effects of a UV light shining on the bacteria:

The only one that gave a glowing effect was the LB/amp/ara which contained the nutrient broth, ampicillin, and arabinose.
